2917 men of Fighter Command qualified for the Battle of Britain Clasp by flying at least one combat sortie with one of the specified units between 10 July-31 October 1930.
In addition, aircrew flew with other squadrons within Fighter Command, as well as with Bomber Command and Coastal Command during the course of the Battle.
