My name is Britain – I live in San Fransisco. I have a wonderful husband of 10 years and two twin boys. Eric and Aaron are 6yrs old. These three guys are the loves of my life. They are the reason I do everything I do. I have a great job with a well known firm doing private consulting. 25+ years. Mark (my husband) stays home with the boys. This works well for us because I believe boys need their daddy (not that they don’t need me too) but I’ve been with my firm for so long I have great benefits and can often work from home.
We have 2 beautiful Dalmations that we got the same year the twins were born. No, we didn’t plan that – it just kind of happened. We had been trying to get pregnant for 3 1/2 years with no success so we decided we were going to adopt a puppy instead. Mark had a Dalmation growing up and wanted another one. As luck would have it, the same day we found out we were pregnant we got a call from the Dalmation Rescue in Southern California. They had 2 brothers that they didn’t want to split up and asked us if we wanted them both. Little did we know we were pregnant with twins….
So now when I have a rough day at work and come home a little grouchy – my boys call me Cruella Deville. I swear this year for Halloween I’m finding myself a Cruella costume.
