Battle of Britain Heritage Walk

The Battle of Britain was a dramatic turning point in the history of the Second World War. The German objective was to eliminate the Royal Air Force both in the air and on the ground, and to obtain air superiority in preparation of a seaborne invasion. The Battle of Britain Heritage Walk is a permanent reminder of the debt that we owe to the pilots, ground-crew and operations staff who defended freedom and liberty in the dark days of 1940.
